Heritage Calgary Radar

Calgary maintains a public inventory of ~870 evaluated historic resources (buildings, streetscapes, landscapes) on Open Calgary dataset 99yf-6c5u. ~550 of these are non-residence (commerce, religion, transport, mixed-use, education, industry, leisure, community, government). These properties have unique restoration / conservation / compliance needs that command premium ticket sizes from a small, specialised vendor base.

This is a STATIC INVENTORY, not an event feed. The 870 records were built up over decades of evaluation work; the city adds maybe 5-15 per year. So buyers use this as a TAM/account-mapping deliverable — "here is every heritage property in Calgary that could need your services" — not as a weekly fresh-lead feed. Federal / Provincial / Municipal designation flags indicate which properties have legal protections AND grant eligibility, which is the most useful filter for the buyer. Construction year and last-update date are included so subscribers can target buildings approaching restoration cycles (typically 25-50 years between major envelope work on heritage stock).
