Ahs Continuing Care Live

AHS operates the Assisted Living Navigation Portal (alnavigator.alberta .ca) — a citizen-facing search tool listing every publicly- and privately-funded continuing-care site in Alberta. We harvest the underlying GraphQL endpoint (alacapacity.api.alberta.ca/graphql) used by the SPA itself, filter to Calgary CMA municipalities, and ship three sheets (All / LTC / DSL). Schema mirrors the legacy PDF-based directory so subscribers can diff old-vs-new and spot operator-of-record changes since 2016.

LIVE refresh from Alberta Navigator replaces the 2016 PDF. The Operator column reflects CURRENT ownership including post-2016 M&A (Welltower acquired Revera's Canadian portfolio; Sienna picked up Symphony; etc.). Use THIS product for outreach. Use the PDF-based product (ahs_continuing_care_directory.py) ONLY for historical research where the 2016 ownership-of-record matters. Still a STATIC INVENTORY — facilities don't flip in and out weekly. Use as account mapping; pitch the operator HQ, not the site.
