Alberta Corporate Registry publishes a bulk roster of every registered non-profit entity in the province (~69K rows, ~28K active) covering: - Alberta Society (the main "Societies Act" category) - Non-Profit Private Company / Public Company (Companies Act Part 9) - Religious Society / Recreation Public Company - Agricultural Society - Private Act Non-Profit Corporation - Extra-Provincial Non-Profit Corporation The dataset lives on open.canada.ca and the underlying bulk XLSX is refreshed monthly. This product subsets to the Calgary CMA (Calgary, Airdrie, Cochrane, Chestermere, Okotoks, High River, Strathmore and surrounding towns), filters to status = Active, and ships three sheets: - All Active Calgary Non-Profits - Recently Registered (12mo) — these orgs are literally standing up operations right now and need vendors urgently - By Type — pivot showing counts per Legal Entity Type for territory planning

- Property management (every active non-profit needs an office / room / studio / hall) - Cleaning, janitorial, waste-removal services - AV / IT / phone-system integrators - Signage, branded merch, accessibility consultants - Insurance brokers (D&O coverage for non-profit boards) - Bookkeeping / payroll for board-managed orgs

Alberta's non-profit registry is DISTINCT from CRA's registered-charity registry — many non-profits are NOT registered charities (they don't issue tax receipts, they don't file T3010s). So this product fills a gap that T3010 misses entirely: small community leagues, sports clubs, ethnocultural associations, hobby groups, advocacy bodies. Treat the recently-registered cohort as PREMIUM — those orgs are establishing vendor relationships right now. Bulk-active is best as TAM for territory planning.
