Cmhc Procurement History

Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC) is the Crown corporation responsible for federal housing finance + housing policy. They are NOT on CanadaBuys / not in federal_contract_awards_watch. They publish their own Proactive Disclosure of Contracts as a series of monthly / quarterly XLS files on their website (2008 - April 2023 currently). This product scrapes that file index, downloads every disclosure file, parses each one's variable header structure, and ships a single consolidated Excel with three tabs: 1. All Contracts — every CMHC contract >$10K with vendor name, contract value, scope, start + end date, period 2. Top Vendors — vendor-level rollup: count of CMHC contracts, total $ 3. Recent Year — most recent 12 months of disclosures (depending on what CMHC has published)

CMHC's last published monthly file is April 2023. They appear to have changed publication systems in mid-2023 and the newer feed (if any) is not on the same URL. This product gives you the **historical archive** (vendor patterns, typical contract values, scope categories) but does NOT carry current-quarter awards. If CMHC resumes publishing, the scraper will automatically pick up new URLs on the next run. Call-ups (orders against Standing Offers) are also fetched and split into a separate tab.
