Refer a contractor. Get a month free.

For every paying customer you refer, you and the new subscriber each get one month of your current plan free. No caps. No fine print.

How it works

Get your referral link. Sign in to your dashboard; your link is at the top — looks like https://shovelradar.com/?ref=cust_yourid.
Send it to a peer. Trade contractor, broker, equipment dealer — whoever would benefit. You know who. Two-line email is plenty:
"I've been using Shovel Radar for weekly Canadian commercial permits. It's saved me hours of HubSpot-trawling and we've closed two deals from it. Worth a 5-row sample: https://shovelradar.com/?ref=cust_yourid"
They sign up. They mention your link when they grab a sample, OR they click through it to checkout. We attribute the referral automatically.
Both of you get a month free. Credit appears on your next Stripe invoice within 7 days of their first successful payment. They get a 30-day extension on their billing cycle.

What we never do

Send cold email to anyone you refer. We don't take their email and add them to a drip. They'll only hear from us if they request a sample themselves.
Cap your free months. Refer 10 people, get 10 free months. We'd rather have 10 active customers than 10 paying months.
Track them with cookies for years. Attribution window is 30 days. Their first paid invoice triggers your credit; that's it.

Why we run it

The single fastest growth lever for a Canadian commercial data product is "the GC across the street told me about it." A friend's recommendation closes 4–5× higher than a cold ad. We'd rather pay that growth in free months than CAC.
