Step 1 — Choose a product and subscribe
Start at shovelradar.com/pricing.html or browse by trade at /trades/ and by city at /cities/. Every product has a sample file you can download before subscribing.
When you're ready, click Subscribe on the product page. You'll be taken to Stripe Checkout, where you enter your card and email address. No account needed before purchase — your account is created automatically from the email you use at checkout.
Founder pricing: the first 10 subscribers to any product get locked pricing for 24 months. If the counter on the product page is still below 10, you qualify. There's no code to enter — it applies automatically.
Step 2 — Confirm your email
After checkout, Stripe sends a payment receipt to your email address. Separately, Shovel Radar sends a welcome email within a few minutes. Check your inbox (and spam folder) for an email from noreply@shovelradar.com.
The welcome email contains a one-click magic link to set up your portal access. Click it within 15 minutes. If it expires, proceed to Step 3 directly.
Step 3 — Sign in with a magic link
Shovel Radar uses passwordless login — there's no password to create or remember. Every time you sign in:
Go to shovelradar.com/app/.
Enter the email address you used when you subscribed.
Click Send magic link.
Check your email for a message from noreply@shovelradar.com. Click the link inside.
You're now signed in and redirected to your dashboard.
The magic link logs you in and sets a session cookie valid for 30 days. You won't need to sign in again on that browser for a month.
Magic link not arriving? Check spam. Wait 2 minutes and try again. Links expire in 15 minutes — if you clicked an old one, just request a new one. Full troubleshooting at help/magic-link-login.html.
Step 4 — Access your downloads
Your portal dashboard shows every product you're subscribed to and all your available deliverable files. Files are listed by date — the most recent delivery is always at the top.
Click any file name to download the XLSX directly. Files are named in the format ProductName_YYYY-MM-DD.xlsx.
Your first delivery lands on the Monday after your subscription activates. If you subscribe on a Thursday, your first file arrives Monday morning. If you subscribe on a Sunday or Monday, it's likely in the same week's run.
Step 5 — Read the README tab
Every XLSX file includes a README tab (the rightmost tab in the workbook). It explains:
- Every column and what it means
- Data source IDs and links
- CASL compliance notes for your outreach
- How to read the scoring columns
- Contact information for support
Read this tab first. It takes 5 minutes and will answer most questions about the data in front of you.
